GREYTOWN FOOTBALL CLUB The adjourned annual meeting of this Club was held last Saturday night, Mr C. Beard in the chair. The balance sheet for tho past season was read and adopted. It was resolved that the terms of amalgamation suggested by the Wanderers Football Club be adopted. Correspondence was read from the Masterton Football Club re matches and meeting of the Rugby Union. Also from Dr Bey and Mr W. Udy Vice Presidents, accepting office. On a ballot being taken for captain, Mr E. Udy was elected by a majority of four votes.
Mr A Grigg was elected delegate to the Wairarapa Rugby Union, vice Mr J Maguire, who declined. Mr C Beard explained respecting his trophy that it would be given to the best all round player for the season to be elected by ballot at the end of the season.
It was resolved that the delegates be instructed to second the Red Star Club in the Union. It was resolved that the Club present the best junior with a trophy, the recipient to be chosen by a ballot of members.
It was resolved that juniors under 15 be admitted as members at 3s. It was resolved that the Secretary and Mr Webster arrange all junior matches.
The report of the last seasos showed that 6 matches had been played, and that the club had won 2, lost 1, and 3 were drawn.
