OTICE is hereby given that the Featherston Town Board will at its next meeting strike a general rate of a Half-penny in the £ on all the rateable properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll, 188 C. Also a Library rate of onepenny in the £ (annual value), such rates to be for the periods of one year, dating from the Ist April, 1887, to the 31at March, 1887, and to be payable in one instalment on the Ist May, 1887. THE ANNUAL MEETING of Ratepayers of the Featherston Hoad District will be held at the Office of the Board on WEDNESDAY, the 4th day of May, at 12.30 o’clock p.m., to receive report and Balance Sheet for the past year. 'T'AKE NOTICE, the above Board intends at a meeting to be held on SATURDAY, the 7th of May, to make the following rates, viz., A general rate of 5-Bths of a penny in the £ on all properties in the Featheraton Road District, as appear* ing on the valuation roll now in force, for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1887, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1888, payable in one asm on the 14th day of May, 1887.
