Featherston Town Board.

The usual monthly meeting ol the F’eatherstou. Town Board was held on Monday, the4th April, at 7.60 p.m. Commissioners present— Messrs Reynolds (chairman), Candy, Jas Donald, Oakly, aud A. Donald. The balance at the bank was reported at HI 2s Id.

Accounts amounting to L 27 9s Bd, were passed lor payment.

The clerk paid in rents Ll 17s, The Registrar of Dogs paid iu fees L 6. ; He Collector reported rates collected L9l 7s ; rate arrears collected Ll7 6s HJ ; total, ; LlO9 6s 6d. , T’he Inspector’s report was read. Correspondence inwards and outwards was I read, including forms of balance sheet aud statistical returns ; also a circular from the Treasury Office rc Imperial Institute. Ihe meeting then adjourned to Monday, the 18th instant, for the purpose of .jinking rale.
