Thermometer.—24th aud 26th, highest, 72deg ; 29th aud 60th. lowest, 45deg, mean 62 dtg Rain fall iu inches, lot, -75 ; 6rd, 09; 4th, -05 ; Hth, -07 ; 17th, HO ; 18th, 05 ; 23rd, -20 ; 28th, -19 ; 29tb, -13. Total 1.76. There has beeu a far greater fall ~f rma on the Tararua ranges, than has reached the centre of the valley. Hi NKV BItAIIHWAITE.
