White Cake— One-half cup each of butter, milk, cornstarch; one ami one-half cups each of white sugar and floor, two teaspoons of baking powder, whites of six eggs beaten to a froth. Hake in layers and spread with an icing made of pulverised sugar and whites of eggs.
