Greytown Hospital Soiree.

A meeting was hold in Mr F. 11. Wood’s Auction Koom, Greytown.on Monday last, of persons interested in the holding of the annual soiree on Faster Monday, in aid of the funds of the Greytown Hospital. There was a fairly numerous attendance, and Mr Wood was voted to the chair. A committee was formed (whose names appear in our advertising columns), and an honorary secretary elected. Arrangements were then made regarding the providing of suitable refreshments, and the questions of music and a programme of dances were also dealt with.

The price of tickets was fixed at the same as that existing in former years, viz., double tickets, 7s Gd, single ss, extra lady 2s 6d. The meeting then closed with voles of thanks to the ladies for their attendance, and to the chairman for presiding.
