Derrett took a tremendous pull at Spade Guinea in the straight the first time, and was hopelessly in the uai at the back. He was severely reprimanded by the stewards, who said he would be closely watched lu future. Bhah won the Welter Handicap, Orwell the Selling Baoe, amt Wapipi the Flying Handicap.
