Great Fire in Gisborne.
thsiioßNE, March 7. A fire broke out this morning in the stables of the AJbiou Ciui Hotel, and spread to the hotel and shops adjoinin''. Those burnt out are—Meters Cofly, bootmaker ; McLennon, jeweller; Al:: lir. bailer; Nasmith, working jeweller , Scant, tanor ; Wilson, Albion Club Hotel ; Ward and Cresswell, solicitors ; DeLatnur, solicitor; the Union SS Co ; Loan and Mercantile Co ; Native Land Settlement Co ; Westrupp, commission agent; native interpreter ; Berry Daniels, bommissum agent, and Clarke, bate)-, on tile up tow,, side greet. Tiro <:' l8 was checked at c WC i c,! * "nop, winch, with Adams' s . loner s s -j'P' was gutted. Total estimated aairtaa- £ 3o iooo _ i -The same night another lire took place. Stevenson's stalles were reduced to mine and Winter and Haigh's chambers have gone. The file was got under ut midnight.
