NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC.
Correspondents must, in every case, furnish (heir names and addresses, not necessarily for publication, but as a guarantee of goad faith. All letters for insertion must be written ox one sms or the riPEE only, and addressed, to the Editor of the Stabdabd. We do not identity ourselves with the opinions expressed by our correspondents. In order to secure insertion. Advertisements, 40., must be sent in not later than eleven o’clock on the day of publication. Advertisements without number of insertions marked thereon will be inserted till ordered out, or are left out through effluxion of time. Births, Marriages, and Deaths, are inserted gratis but they must be properly authenticated. Letters and communications on subjects of local and general interest, if fairly and temperately written, aud of brief length, aid, so far as space permits, had insertion in our columns.
