NOTICE is hereby given that a POLL of the Ratepayers of No 6 Special Rating District of the Featherston Road District will be taken at Mr P. Hume’s residence “ Tauanui,” on WEDNESDAY, ihe 2nd day of March, between the hours of 9 am. and 6 p.m., upon the following proposal, via., To borrow from the Govemment, under the provisions of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886,” a sum of £2OOO for the erection of a Bridge over the Ruamahunga River at Kahautara, and to pay the Government in respect thereof an annual instalment of £IOO for 26 years, which sum shall be secured by an annually recurring rate of 3-16ths of a penny in the £ over the properties in such Special Rating District. NO. 5 SPECIAL EATING DISTRICT NOTICE is hereby givcu that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the above Special Rating District will be taken at the Town Hall, Martiuborough, on THURSDAY, the 3rd day of March, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., upon the proposal to borrow the sum of £SOO from tho Government under the provisions of the “ Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of forming, Ac., roads in such special rating district, and to pay the Government in respect thereof an annual instalment of £25 for 26 years, which sum shall be secured by an annually reclining Special Kate of oue-sixteeuth of a penny in the £ over the properties in such Special Rating District.
