Ist prize £B, 2nd prize £4, 3rd prize £2, and as will be seen by the programme in addition to these prizes, 20s and 10s will be given for Ist and 2nd in each event. Nominations for St Patrick’s Handicap and events 2, 5, 6, 7, 10,15, and 16 will close at Qreytown, on MONDAY, February 28th. Handicaps will be published in the Waibabapa Btahdabd and Evening Press on WEDNESDAY, the 9th March. No other intimation of Handicaps will be given. RULES AND REGULATIONS. | Entries for open races to be made to the Secretary, on the ground. The decision of the Committee, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all oases of dispute, be final; and all protests shall be made within a quarter of an hour after the event. In the event of the weather proving unfavorable, the Committee shall have it in their power to postpone the Sports from day today. All Nominations must be accompanied by fees or they will not be recognised. Each competitor for Handicaps must state in writing their performances for last two years. Three competitors to start or no prize ; five or no second prize ; seven or no third prize. Any competitors starting before signal, to be put back one yard for the first breach, two yards for the second and to be disqualified for that event for the third. Frizes will be paid on tbs ground. Admission Is; children under 12, half price. A GRAND PROCESSION Of Friendly Societies, in full Regalia, will start from Foresters’ Hall, at 10 a.m. beaded by a Brass Band, which will play on the ground. Sports will commence at 11 O'Clook Sharp.
