Napier Ram Fair.
The annual ram fair was not a great success. A large number of sheep were yarded, acd at the opening there waa brisk competition ; but, owing to the protracted drought, the demand was small and was soon satisfied, few sales being effected. The average prices were from two to five guineas, the largest being 35 for a single ram. As a general rule, locally bred sheep sold better than imported ones.
