FEATHEESTON BOAD DISTEICT. NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the above Board to be held on MONDAY, 7th February next, it is pro. posed to pass the following special orders, viz : 1. That sub district 6 of the Peatherskon Boad District, and the White Book Station, containing 19,000 acres, and the Whateraugi Station, conn taining 27,000 acres, be a Special Bating District, for the purposes of the •' Local Bodies Loan Act, 1886,” and that a Special Bate of threesixteenths (3*- 16the) of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of the proposed loan of £2OOO for a bridge over the Bnamahunga Biver at Eahantara. 2. That sub district 5 of the Featherston Boad District be a special rating district for the purposes of the “ Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,” and that a special rate of oneeixteenth of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of proposed loan of £SOO for the formation, &c., of certain toads in such sub district. Read, D. Cameron, W. and D. Sutherland's Estate, A. Douglas, D. and P. McLaren, Wm McLaren and Jno. Tnlly, and the properties in the Awhea Riding, occupied respectively by Jno. Tully, Jno. Cameron, Wm McLaren and Peter McLaren, as they are described in the Assessment Roll now in force under the numbers following respectively, W /95, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, and W /100, 2, 16, 18, 19 to wit. And that the following properties be constituted a Special Rating District for Gladstone-Wainuioru Road under “The Local Bodies Loans Act 1886,” with the view of levying a Special Rate therein to pay the instalments required for a loan of £6OO under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886. The properties in the Gladstone Riding occupied respectively by Messrs W. and H. Beetham, Jas. Cooper, Fred Moore, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, F. W. Hales and S. Yennell, as they are described in the Assessment Roll now in force under the numbers following respectively, W 94/561, 565, 566, 567, 568, 576, together with a portion of the property occupied by W. C. Buchanan numbered in Assessment Roll, W 94/542 to wit, 500 acres being part of Mungaraki Block and parts of sections 59 and 61 and the whole of sections 41, 42, 55, 57, 58 (in all about 1920 acres.
