Fires in Auckland.
A four roomed cottage in Bussell street, Auckland, occupied by W H Chappell, was burned down on Sunday. On the new North road the tame evening five shops with dwellings attached were consumed. They were —Warren, grocery; Warden, boot ■hop ; McKellar, confectioner ; and Netlingham, bootmaker, and Lambert.
