FEATHEBSTON EOAD DISTBICT. NOTICE is berebj Riven that at a special meeting of the above Board to be held on MONDAY, 7th February next, it is pro. posed to pass the following special orders, viz:— 1. That sub district 6 of the Featherston Boad District, and the White Bock Station, containing 19,000 acres, and the Whaterangi Station, con« taining 27,000 acres, be a Special Rating District, for the purposes of the “ Local Bodies Loan Act, 1886,” and that a Special Bate of three, sixteenths (3‘l6ths) of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of the proposed loan of £2OOO for a bridge oyer the Bnamahunga Biver at Kabantara. 2. That sub district 5 of the Featherston Boad District be a special rating district for the purposes of the " Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,” and that a special rate of onesixteenth of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of proposed loan of £SOO lor the formation, &c., of certain toads in such sub district. TAKE NOTICE that the Wairarapa South County Council will, at a Meeting to be holden on SATURDAY, the 19lh day of February, 1887, confirm the|undermeiitioned Special Order That the foil iwing properties be constituted a Special Rating District for Marliuborough-Pahaua Road under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,” with the view of levying a Special Rate therein to pay the instalments required on a Loan of £650 under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886.” The Properties in the Gladstone Biding occupied respectively by Messrs F. Read, D. Cameron, W. and D. Sutherland’s Estate, A, Douglas, D. and P. McLaren, Wm McLaren and Jno. Tully, | and the properties in the Awhea Riding, occupied respectively by | Jno. Tully. Jno. The properties in the Gladstone Riding occupied respectively by Messrs W. and H. Beetham, Jas. Cooper, Fred Moore, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, F. W. Hales and S. Vemieil, as they are described in the Assess, ment Roll now in force under the numbers following respectively, No 04, 561, 565, 566, 567 , 568, 576, together with a portion of the property occupied by W. C. Buchanan numbered in Assess, merit Roll, No 94/542 to wit, 600 acres being part of Mungaraki Block and parts of sections 59 and 61 and the whole of seetions 41, 42, 55, 57, 58 (in all about 1920 acres.
