London, Jan 13. A crowded and influential meeting in connection with the Imperial Inatitate woe held at the Mansion House this afternoon, the Lord Mayor in the chair. It wm resolved that the erection of the Institute ahoold be carried on by voluntary subscription, and that the meeting pledge itself to support the undertaking, 4110,000 was subscribed at the Mansion House. At least half a million will be required to start the Imperial Inatitate. A i representative committee of all section! of the corrmunity will be appointed shortly. It will be three years before the Inatitate is opened. It is reported that Mr' B. W. Streeter, of London, the well-known dealer in precious atones, has leased the ruby mines just acquired in Bunnah for L 30.000 a year. Oeneral Kaulbars will shortly return to Bulgaria.
