Members of School Committees.
To the Editor of the Standard, Sib,—One thing is clearly shown by the recent meeting at Greytown, and that is, that the best men in the district should agree to act as members of School Committees, even if they are nnable to attend the meetings regularly. A few of the members oau easily carry on the routine work of the school and any important business could be settled by men whose social standing gives them a truly representative character. I bops these gentlemen will consent to act if nominated, though they may not attend half the meet* inge of the committee. I am, Ac., A Barest.
