Supposed Suicide at Carterton.
It is repotted that a boy when bathing in a creek near the Ihdetield Itoad, on Baturdiy, dived on top of the body of a man which i e atteiwnrds drew from the water. The body, we Jure informed, is that of an old man aged 75, named liercock, who was married lust Wednesday to a young wife. He then disappeared and was not heard of until tnc body was discovered as related above.
