A cricket mrth took place at Tanbereni™«eooar»a M Satudsy last between the Taaherenikan Ml Eaiwaiwai Clubs, with the Molt that the Tanherenikaa men were the ▼ieton by six akkets. There were a good few onlooker* on the ground, and host Wilkinson, of the Tanherenikaa Hotel, proved a good laaoheon. The following are Um soarea ;

After this match, a scratch match of 12 ■side wu played, and Mr J. Candy, one of the old Featkerstoj cricketers took part, and •pesdily ran np a score of 35 not ont. Seme other player* also from Eaiwaiwai, who did not do oo well in the first match, made some good leam. Young Bollard in the first tuftlch bowled excellently, and showed good fom for one so juvenile.
