A Girl Burned to Death.
Information has been received by the pollM of the occurrence of a ihoekiog fatal accident on Uonday week at the remote settlement of Aohanga, between Castlepoiut end Cepe Tarnegain. The victim was e little girt between 9 end 10 yean old, the daughter of e native named Hori Teki. It eppeera that a* the child wee in the net of lilting a pot of potatoes from the fire bar elothee became ignited, and in her fright the little one ran oat of the where. A high wind wee blowing at the time, which apread the flamee all over the girl'a body, and the whole of her clothing wee coon eonanmad, while frightful injuries ware inflicted.
