Terrible Disaster at Sea.
REPORTED LOSS OP THIRTY NINE LIVES. Sydney, December 9. The steamers Helen Nicoll and Keiliwarra came into collision last night off Trial Bay, on the coast of this colony. The Keilawarra sank in seven minutes, and the captain and 43 of the crew ac- passengers went down in her. Three of the* Helen Nicoii’s cfew £ ra missing. The Keilawarra is a vessel of 1009 tons, owned by Howard Smith and Sons (Limited). Miss Marie Carandini (Mrs Wilson), was a victim.
