Melbourne, November 24. Messrs R Goldsborongh and Company held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, the rooms being crowded with buyers. Five thousand bales were offered, and 3500 were sold. Biddings were spirited throughout, and for all good wools prices were firm. Greasy wool realised up to Ilf d, and scoured and washed wools to 18 jd. Messrs Goldsborough and Co. report having sold during the week 5500 bales. The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand report as follows of the local market :—Wheat, weak, 4s lOd to 4s lid ; bailey, slow of sale, 3s 9s to 4s 3d ; oats, feed sorts, irregular, 2s 9d to 2s lid ; milling, quieter and weaker, 2s to 3s 3d ; New Zealand oats under bond, neglected 2s 2J to 2s 4d.
