All the intrigue of Russia against Prince Alexander and against the regency siuce the Prince abdicated, go to prove that Russia will not bo satisfied until she wields the sceptre iu Bulgaria. In 1877 Russia took action which s-veed Bulgaria from the Turkish dominions ; she is now trying to link Bulgaria with her own vast empire.
