Martinborough.
The concert at the Town Hal), Marlin* borough, on Tuesday night was a most tuooessful event, both as regards the me: its of the different performances and the amount taken by way of admission. We will not attempt to criticise the songs, recitations nud readings that were given individually ; snl ice it to say that they were all rendered ia a manner creditable to the performers and to the entire satisfaction of the audience. There was £7 5s taken at the door, which will greatly assist in paying for the fence lately erected round the Manse and cemetery grou nd. We hear that the next concert will be in aid of the English Church, and should it hi as successful as the last, the Church Committee may see their way to complete the painting of the Church.
