Be Joseph Ingley On the application of Mr Sellar the debtor was ordered to come np for peblic examination.
B* George Bowles. Mr Sandilands applied under sab-section 7, section 105 of the Act of 1888, to have Chutes Bowles entered as a creditor for £135 5s 6d. Mr Bunny, for the Official Assignee, opposed the application, on the ground that it was " taken up " more than twelve months after the bankruptcy, on a dividend becoming apparent. The appli. cut, a sawyer, was examined. His evidence created considerable amusement. He stated that he had been lending his first eo us in his earnings since 188' i, and that on George filing, although he knew it wsa necessary to prove against the estate he accepted the debtor’s statement that the claim would be all right- Hie Honor took time to consider his decision.—Star.
