Miners for Big Day
InvlulAugill. Saturday. There was considerable excitement over the departure of the Big Bay expedition this morning. Immense crowds were at the railway station bidding farewell to friends. Besides the Southland an-l West Coast Prospecting Association, a party of 30 went at their own charges fully equipped. In all 104 miners tickets were taken at the railway station. Thirteen truck loads of stores, tools, &c.. accompanied the party. Hearty cheers were given when the train moved away.
