Tie final beat* in the second round of th« Sculling Sweepstakes were rowed to-day on the Thames over eooreaee between Hammer nnith end Kew, and Wandsworth and Hammeramitfa, and naolted a« folio»s First Heat.—Beach 1; Bobear, 2. second Heat, learner, 1; Mattaraon, 2. Lordor, September 1. Bobear got the beat of the start, hot fooled, Beaeh immediately after getting away, and although the letter’s right rowlock was inland by the foal, he 'managed to win easily. The coarse was between Wandsworth and Hammersmith. Beach beat Teemer in the final heat, and wina the first prize in the Sculling Sweep, ■takes. Teemer tike* second prize. The first prize is 21200 end the second £SOO. Matte ran end Bnbear gets £l5O apiece.
