Taratahi Dairy Factory.

The report of the directors of the Taratahi Dairy Company show that, alter writing off L 66 16s 3d lor depreciation, a profit lor the year of L 287 14s 5d is shown, which redness the amonnt of losses to date to L 262, which imm the directors confidently expect will be wiped out during the coming season. The manager’s residence has been completed at a total cost of LlB5 17a lid. The directors propose at an early date to apply L3OO out ot the available capital to the repayment of the lean on mortgage. A contract has been let lor the supply of firewood for the ensuing season, at 9s per cord, and the engagement with Mr Foss, factory manager, has been renewed. The directors have decided that the price of milk shall be 3Jd per gallon, and that the whey shall be sold by tender, and the proceeds divided pro rata with the milk amongst dairymen. The produce of this Factory continues to keep the highest place for first quality, and in addition to securing first prize at several local shews, also secured the silver medal and first prize at the New Zealand Industrial Exhibition, 1885.
