A Child Drowned.
A singular case of death by drowning occurred at Springfield, Malvern. Canterbury yesterday. A child of two years old, daugh* ter of Mr Keenan of the Springafield Hotel, slipped into a pool of water a lew inohe* deep falling on her face. Although she could not have been more than a few moments in the water when take oat by her sister, all efforts to restore animation proved unavailing
