Alarming Accident.
Auckland, August 11. As the Botomabaua was leaving for Sydney tins evening a cab hone ewerred alongside, the oab going over, and getting jammed between the wharf and the ihip. A lady insideMrs Atwell, tell into the sea, also the cabman named Measles. The traces wen cut, bat the horn got drowned. A steward ol the Botomahana, named William Smith, jumped overboard and reaened the woman. He got kicked in the belly by the straggling bona la the water, bat not seriously, Meoiiee wm got oat Mtiely.
