Ploughing Match.
The second Annual Ploughing Match tinder the auspices of the Masteit'm Fanners' Club took place on Wednesday in Mrs Yates' paddock, Upper Plain. Twelve ploughs mustered on the ground, viz.—Double furrows, 3 Reid and Gray’s and 8 Duncan's ; single furrows 1 Duncan’s and 1 Hornsby; Boys, 3 Dan can's and IBe id and Gray. Tito judges were :—Ploughing Messrs A. W. Care and John Morris ; horses and harness : B. Cockburn, F. Gray, and John Harding ; stewards : Messrs E. and T. Chamberlain, F. Gray, and D. Carman. The following ate the results of the match :

I J Percy 8 S Carman .. 8 Best Feering Liddiugton Best Finish .. Carman men’s single fubbow— two entries. S Foreman ..1 8 Liddington .. .. 2 Best Feering and Finish .. S Foreman Beat Team of Horaea ~ E Chamberlain Best Fair of Horses .. S Liddington Beat Kept Horses .. 8 Broom Beet Groomed Horse .. b Broom In the evening about 50 persona assembled for the usual dinner at the Occidental Hotel.
