Another Bank.

To the Editor of the Standard. Sib,— Some time ago I saw a letter in (he Standard suggesting the establishment of another bank in Oreytown. I was in sympathy with the suggestion, and 1 know if the town were, canvassed for the opinions of business men there would be an almost unanimous feeling expressed in favor of it. In my own case I feel the necessity of it, lor I always do business with the Bank of Australasia in Featherston. As may be surmised there are often inconveniences in sending out of this town in money matters, 1 therefore think that the manager of the Bank of Australasia or indeed of any other bank, would be doing good service to the trades people of Grey town if they would open a branch here. I am quite sure they would not regret the step and a steady businesa would grow under their hands. Allow me, six, to make known this want through your calamus iu the hope that the managers of others banks than that of the New Zealand will consider the matter and also in the hope that my letter may elicit the opinions of other business men. I am, Ao., Tbadib.
