The Post has been bullying and abusing the members for Wellington City and Provincial District for daring to vote against the Government on Mr Montgomery’s amendment. We don’t think the hon members in question will Be a bit disquieted because the Post is wroth with them. Messrs Johnston, Newman and Fisher, the members for the City, will still retain the confidence of their constituents, despite what the Post says; while‘Messrs Buchanan and Beetham, the members for the Wairarapa, will find that their action will be approved by the majority of those whom they represent.
