IT is hereby notified that the Pahiatua Village Special Settlement Sections will be open for selection ai this office on and after Friday, 18 June, 1886. Applications can also be lodged with the ranger, as Steward of the Village Settlement, at Pahiatua tip to 16th June. There are 58 sections, ranging in area from 4 to 20 acres each ; leases at rentals from about 2s 9d to 5s an acre will be granted for 30 years, renewable for fur ther periods of 21 years, but without righof purchase. Advances on certain condit lions may be obtained from the Government to enable selectors to build houses and improve their holdings ; 6 per cent will be charged on the amount advanced. Residence and certain improvements are compulsory. Plans, conditions, and regulations may be seen and obtained at RaihvayStatior.s and Post Offices in Wellington district. Any further information that may be re quiredcan be obtained from the Steward of the Village Settlement, Mr. Mackay, who will be at Pahiatua from 9th to 16 hj June, or from this office and other Land Offices in the Colony.
