PARLIAMENTARY NOTES.
It is rumoured that the Hon W. H. Reynolds, M.L.C., Las ace- pud a seat Cabinet without portfolio. The first important debate of the session commenced last evening. On the motion to go into Supply, Major Atkinson, as Leader of the Opposition, according to prior arrangement, opened the discussion of the Colonial Treasurer's Financial Statement, upon which the hon. gentleman spoke for two hours.
