Advances on certain condit tions may be obtained from the Government to enable selectors to build houses and improve their holdings ; 5 per cent, will be charged on the amount advanced. Residence and certain improvements are compulsory. Plans, conditions, and regulations may be seen and obtained at Railway Stations and Post Offices in Wellington district. Any further information that may be required can be obtained from the Steward of the Village Settlement, Mr. Mackay, who will be at Pahiatua from 9th to 16th June, or from this office and other Land Offices in the Colony.
