At an influentially attended meeting of the Wootgrowera' Association, held ben to-day, then appeared to be a general opinion that no time should be loet in fencing the rabbit* whieh an in the Amari District ont of Canterbury. Pending the passing of a Bill nabHng Babbit Board* to levy rates, many ad then pnantezpnaaed their willingness to contribute Id or per sheep to establish a fund lor the purpose. It was estimated that the amount thus represented in the room would bo about £BOO.
