Terrific weather has been experienced on tne English Coast. Bradford, Yorkshire, has been troubled with a mad dog scare. In January twenty persons were bitten, and one died in terrible agony. Eatly iu March tremendous snowstorms prevailed iu the North of England, suspending traffic on many railways. They ceased on the 4th. The suffering among the passengers ou various trains which have been si ow-b'utid were very great. Some of tbe trams were embedded in enow orifts for 48 hours, fhe loss of cattle in transit was enormous. Mr Henry Labouchere moved in the House of Common* on the sth that an hereditary chamber of legislation was inconsistent with the principle, of representative Government. The motion was rejected by 200 tu 166. Birmingham and Manchester have a large number of unemployed. In tbe former place a moo of 800 attempted to run riot on 15th February, and pillage the shops. The police were prepared, aud promptly repressed the attempt. fne boiler of tbe fug Rifleman exploded in Cardiff Harbour on the Bth Match. The who e crew of six persona were blown to atoms, and a piece of tbs cylinder struck a passing Italian ship a quartet of a mile distant, and killed the pilot.
