Featherston School Committee.
Ihe usual monthly meeting of the Fo»therston Sellout Committed was held at the School room, on Saturday, did invt. «t 7 pm. Present —Mr s»r* Bunny (chairman), Donald, Keys, Bobutson, McDoiigall and Barton.
The minutes of the previoue meeting were read aud confirmed, as was also the anion of Messrs Bunny, Key sand Barton, in granting the school children a holiday to attend the Sunday School picnic. The Treasurers Book shewed a bank halanoe of £li 16s 3d ; Uitemana account £2 10s was passed and paid, and a honorarium , f£3 8s was voted to Mias Kate Cnndy tor taking temporary charge of a class room iu • tbs absence of Miss Craig. An agreement with W, Hiteman was signed for doing all cleaning, night werk, <£o., for £3O per annum. Resolved that a table be procured for Mix Medley’s Boom. Annual meeting of honaeholdera lor the election of a new committee to take place on Tuesday, 27tb lost.
