All entries most be Blade subject to the condition that nil disputes, claims and objections arising oat of tbs racing snail Se decided by a majority of Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and that such decision ahMl be final and binding in all esses. Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Birthday Handicap, and Clareville Handicap, to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, perf rmancea, description, and age of horse, and the colors of the rider, and to be sent in accompanied by tbe nomination fee to the Hon. Secretary, G. W. Deller, Carterton, on or Wore THURSDAY, 29ih April, 18S8, at 9 p.m. Weights to be declared on FRIDAY, 7th Mat, 1886, end published in the local newspapers. Acceptances and General Entries to be made on or before MONDAY, Mih Mat, 1888 at 9 p m. Three entries or the public money will be withheld. No protest wilt be considered unless lodged with the Secretary, within ten minutes slier the race, accompanied by a deposit of two pounds, which shall be forfeited if the stewards are of opinion that the proteat is friyoloua or vexatious. All joeksya to ride in the colors nominated or a fine of 1 sot. will be enforced. The saddling bell will ling at 11 mm., lint race to atsrt at 11 30 sharp. The rules of the Club to spply in all cases, where not provided for in this programme. A horse to run in the Hack and Hack Hurdle Rsces, must comply with tbe following conditions, (1.) It most be in actual useas a 'bona fide’ back. (2.) It mast not have been trained, (i.e.) galloped or sweated in clothing or rug at least for six months before this race meeting. (3.) It must never hate been entered for any other n®e, the advertised stake of which being more than fitly pounds. (4.)
