Greytown Recreation Reserve.

To the Editor of thr Si.tudn-,1

SiK, —As steps are, now being taken to put the Greytown Recreation Ueseive io order, I should like to sec the planting of trees proceeded with as soon as possible. The waut of funds prevents this being done just at present, but 1 venture to make a suggestion that L think will partly overcome the difficulty. There is scarcely a resident in Greytown but would like to see the reserve ornamented, and it is in everybody's power to give one or more shrubs or trees. Lot a canvas be made and each person give of trees and shrubs according to his ability. Let a day be set apart for planting and per* haps we may get a few indiv’duals who may present and plant a shrubbery of their ‘■vo. I will guarantee a donation of a dozen pines to start with. 1 am, Ac., X. Y. Z
