Hack Hubble Race, of 12 sovs, second horse 2 sovs. Once round and a distance. Post entry 1 sot. Weight not less than 10st. Waibabafa Dibtbict Produce, of 196 sovs, second horse 15 sovs, third horse 10 sovs. For three-year-olds bred in the district. Nomination 1 sot, 2 sots on night of general entry, and 1 sot before noon on day of race. Colts Bst lOlbs, fillies and geldings Bst 51bs. If miles. Closed with 25 nomination. Hubby Scurry, of 15 sots. Six furlongs. Catch weights. Open to all horses. Post entrance 1 sov. Selling Rack, of 50 sovs. 1 mile and a distance. Weight for age. Entrance 3 sots. The winner to be sold immediately after the race by public auction for 60 sots, any surplus to belong to the Wairarapa Jockey Club. Nomination 1 sot, acceptance 2 sots. The handicap lor this eTent will be made and declared on the course after the Wairarapa Cup has been run for. Nomination for this eTent to be made on night of general entry. Hack Race, of 12 sots, second horse 2 sots. } mile. Weight not less than 6et. RULES AND REGULATIONS. To which the attention of peraoni entering honee is particulalry directed. The first saddling bell will ring at 11.30 a.m., and the first race starts at 12 sharp. Each race will start punctual!j at the advertised tune. The reces will be run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club’s Buies. No Qualification Feet. The Starter has the power to piece fractious or kicking hones or disobedient jockeys in any position he thinks necessary to secure e fair start, and fine* for disobedience will be strictly enforced. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time ef entry, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. In all nomination* for handicap! the previous performances are to be given. This only applies where horses have not raced in the Wairarapa, and where the performances are not included im the N.Z. Turf Record. . All jockeys to ride in proper racing costume, and an/ jockey riding except in colors entered will be fined tWO BOVS, . . . No en*ry will be accepted unless accompanied with the amount of entrance money. Nor will any entry be received after the hour named under any pretence whatever No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition ; That all disputes and objections arising out of tbe races shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final , . , , The amount for second and luitdhorses will be deducted from the advertised amount of slakes. Two-year-olds may run at this meeting in any open race up to 1 i miles, except for the Lady i Bracelet. A “ Hack ” horse is one m actual nse as a hack, which has not been in training for six months previous to the meeting, and which has not during that period been nominated for, entered for, or run for, other than hack races. Owners are particularly requested to observe that to avoid being lined, notice of scratching must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. No horse which shall be proved to have run under a wilful false description cither as to age, name, or pedigree, or any other ground contrary to racing shall hoover permitted to run again at the meetings of the Wairarapa Jockey Club.
