Mr Edward Shaw’s Case.

It is qnite clear that the majority of the creditors of Mr Edward Shaw regard his position with much sympathy. At a meeting of his creditors at Wellington on Tuesday, a majority in number of those present expressed a desire that he ehonld have his discharge immediately, and that his book debts should be given to him. A minority, however, opposed this, and as the amonnt of their claim was slightly larger than those of the majority, the proposal could not be adopted. It is, however, quite evident that Mr Shaw will have no difficulty in getting his discharge.
