Advices zeeeived from the various counties of Ireland state that hundreds of Irish landlords are in the deepest distress, and some of the smaller landlords are on the eve of starvation, owing to the fact that they have not received their rents for some time past. It is estimated that not so much as £SOOO in rents has been paid in the agricultural districts since the beginning of November. The number of members of the new .House of Commons who never before were elected to Parliament is 333. This has had no parallel since the first Parliament under the Beform Bill.
