To which the Attention of persons entering horeee is partienlalry directed. The first saddling bell will ring at 11.S0 in, end the first race starts at 12 sharp. Each race will start punctually at the advertised tun». The races will be run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club’s Rules. No Qualification Fees. Tha Starter has the power to place fractious or kicking horses or disobedient jockeys in any position he thinks necessary to secure a Air etart, and flnea for disobedience will be strictly enforced. All entries to be sealed and ad tressed to the Secretary, entrance money enclosed, with name, age at time ef entry, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. This only applies where horses hare not raced in the Wurarapa, and where the performances are not included in the N.Z. Turf Record. All jockeys to ride in proper racing costume, and any jockey riding except in colors satered will be fined two sovs. No eu’ry will be accepted unless accompanied with the amount of entrance money. Her will any entry be received after the hour named trader any pretence whatever No entry will be received for any of the races exeept upon this condition ; That all disputes and objections arising out o t the racesshaU be decided by a majority of the Stewards preaeat, or those whom they may appoint. Two-year-olds mar run at this meeting iu any open race up to l| miles, except for tue Lady’s Bracelet. A “ Hack ” horse is one in actual use as a hack, which has not been in training for six months previous to the meeting, and which has not during that period been nominated for, entered for, or run for, other than hack races. Owners are particularly requested to observe that to avoid being fined, notice of scratching must be banded to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. No horse which shall be proved to have run under a wilful false description either as to age, name, or pedigree, or any other ground contrary to racing law, shall be ever permitted to run again at tho meetings of the Wairarapa Jookey Club.
