The Wairarapa Rifle Association.
A meeting of the members of this Society was held at the Marquis of Normanby Hotel, Carterton, on Saturday. Present —Major Bunny (in the chair), Captains Bennett and Webster, Carterton and Greytown respectively ! Lieut Moore, Carterton; Lieut D. Smith, Featherstou ; Lieut Thompson and Sergt Matthews, Masterton, nndDiill-luetrno tor Bozar, Secretary. It was stated that there were 70 entries and the prises were numerous. Captains Beunetc, Porritt and tli© secretary (Sergt Major Bezar), were appointed the Range Committee to regulate the firing, &0., and a meeting will take place to “nuottiou the prizes on the 28th jnst. at the Club Hote!, Masterton. The list of special prizes will be published in our nest.
