Handicap, 86 sovs—Second hoise 5 sovs from the stakes ; two miles ; nomination 1 sov ; acceptance 2 sovs, and one sov at post. 6, Selling Race, 20 sovs— l mile, weight for age, the winner to become the absolute property of the Lower Valley Jockey Club, and to be sold by public auction immediately after the race. Entrance, 1 sov 6. Native Bace Handicap, 20 sovs—One mile; nomination, 1 sov; acceptance, 10s. This race is only lor horses owned at least six months previous to the day of races, trained and to be ridden by aboriginal Natives. 7. No scratching of horsesallowed except through the Secretary, and not later than SO minutes before the time of starting. All entries and nominations to be made in writing, sealed and addressed to the Secretary, entrance money to be enclosed with color, eez, name, age and pedigree ofthe horse, name of the owner and colors ofthe rider. In case of a protest, the same most be lodged with the Secretary, in writing, within fifteen minutes after the race is ran, with a deposit of two guineas, such deposit to be lorfeited it the pretest is not sustained. No entry will be received for any of the races, except upon the conditions, that all claims disputes and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall bo final. Hominationa for Flying Steeplechase, L.T.J.C., hj alive Race and Martinborougli Handicaps, close with the Secretary, at Martinborougli on Thursday, November 19th, at II p.m. Weigels declared for Flying Steeplechase, L.V.J.C., and Native Bace Handicaps, on Saturday, December 6th, at 7 p.m. Acceptances for the same on Thursdhy, December 17th, at 11 p.m., at which time the entries for the Selling Bace olose with the Secretary at Martinborough. Weights for the Martinborongh Handicap to be declared on the course after the Native Race is over. Acceptances for the same to be made 30 minutes before the race takes place. Final payments lor the L.V. J.C., and Steeplechase Handicaps to be made on the course an hour before the appointed time of starting lor those events. . No entry, nomination, acceptance, or final payments will be accepted after the appointed time under any pretence whatever. In the event of a walk over, only fifty per cent of the stakes will be given Horse owners should bear in mind that letters require to be in the Featherston Post Office on Mondays and Thursdays afternoon to catch the mails going down to Martinborongh on those days. The races will be run under the Wairarspa Jockey Club rules when net contrary to those regulations. The saddling bell will ring at 11.80, and the lint race starts at 12 sharp.
