Masonic Installation at Masterton.
The installation of W.M. and the invest!tuio of the officers, uf the Masterton Lodge, 1430, E. C., took place in the Maeonic Hall. Bannister street, Masterton, on Wednesday. The Lodge was tyled at (» o'clock, P.M., Bro K, Brown opening the lodge due form. P.M, Bro E. Piugo was the installing officer, and rendered the ceremony in a brilliant manner. Several visiting brethren were present from St Mark’s Lodge, Carterton, and the Thistle Lodge, S.C. The following are the officers for the ensuing year ; -WM, Bro 11. 3 Fitton ; JPM, Bro W. Hollar; S\V, Bro W. T. (Lundy; JW, Bro E. 'richurds, janr ; SD, Bro T. Thompson ; JD Bio H. Brown ; JG. Bro W, MoKeiuie ; Treasurer, Bro W. Berry ; organist, Bro F. T, Redman ; Chaplain, Bro W, E. Paige, M.A. ; Tyler, Bro W. T. Robins. In the evening a ball was held in the Theatre Royal, when about sixty couples enjoyed themselves until early yesterday morning.
