TO STAND THIS SEASON, AT THE VICTORIA HOTEL, FEATHEESTON, The Thorough-Bred Horae TREASON. By Traducer, dam Lady Jane by Riddlesworth, grand-dam Medora by Glendower Arab, TREASON is a beautiful gaiden chesnut, standing about sixteen hands high, with immense bone and muscle, with very superior action; has a splendid constitution, and good temper : is quiet to ride and handle. He has proved himself a sore foal-getter; has distinguished himself well on the turf, having never lost a race when starting for weight-for-ape and and welter woight-for-age. He took first nnze at Richmond Agricultural Show, Nelson; he also took first prize at the Marlborough Agricultural Show. Malton was bred by Sir Tatton Sykes and was by Rifleman, by Touchstone— Campfollower by the Colonel. Melton’s stock were not only good racehorses, but his family have prored that like begets like. Spray was the dam of Belle of the Isle, (Admiral's own sister) who added to her list of victories the Canterbury Cup, and afterwards produced Templeton whose career on the tuifwas simply marvellous. Tooker’s, Kaiwaiwai, South Featherston, where paddocking (2000 acres) will bo provided free of charge till mares are stinted, when notice will be given, after which they will be charged.
