SIX DEATHS. OTHERS SERIOUSLY ILL. An Australian cable message states that an alarming outbreak of disease has occurred on board the British-ladia ate im Navigation Company's R.M.S. Dorunda. which arrived at Townsville, Queensland, last Friday, from London. Four deaths have occurred, of which one was an adult, and the other three children. Sixteen persons are now seriously ill, four of whom are apparently dying. The symptoms of the disease are those of Asiatic cholera. One man who was quite well on Wednesday morning died before night. The serious outbreak occurred aboard, since the vessel left Cooktown. The disease was carried aboard at Batavia. The inhabitants of Townsville have displayed considerable anger at the doctor coming ashore after being in contact with the patients, and in order to quieten public feeling and prevent the possibility of disease spreading on shore, the Mayor has commanded the doctor not to leave his house for the present. Lateb.

Two more deaths have occurred. There are four further oases which are expected to assume serious developments, but the other patients seem to be no werse than they were yesterday.
